.50BMG at Elbe Hills ORV

It is legal to shoot in Washington State Forests as long as you follow the rules, no shooting across roads, no tracers, etc. Thankfully this option exists for us .50BMG owners. The only long distance range in the area, Upper Nisqually Gun Club, only allows this caliber on the first Saturday of the month. Pretty inconvenient as I have to work that day. Ft. Lewis doesn't allow .50 anything, pistol or rifle, so that pretty much leaves only state forest lands to shoot in.

Me sighting in the new scope.

Ray firing his Barrett 99 for this first time (and last time in the dirt).
