Magnolia State Armory

I purchased a Golani (Galil) which is an improved AK design from Israel. Neat weapon that shoots .223 and has lots of bells and whistles compared to the standard AK. Started reading about how you can get an adapter that will allow you to use an M16 magazine in place of the rarer galil type. Pretty usefull as I have an abundance of m16/ar15 magazines and not intersted in stockpiling another magazine type just for this one rifle.

Now the problem, I found this company Magnolia State Armory on a few forums that seems to make the adapter and has good reviews. Small note, the website stated that they are made in batches and could take 4 weeks to ship. No problem not in a huge hurry.

Well after 6 weeks and the holidays over I began to worry. Contacted the company and recieved no reply after a week. Contacted Paypal and told I was pass the 45 day window for dispute resolution, so no help from them.

So I'm left with two choices, one contact my credit card company and see if the charges can be reversed or...

Take the owner to small claims court here in Washington State. I'm leaning towards this, after doing some more research I see the owner has had foks waiting up to a year with no contact.

I ordered one in July of last year
for a Saiga conversion adapter to AR mags.
As in your case, I heard nothing and he was nonresponsive to emails.
My bank wouldn't do anything but Paypal did and I got my refund.
I reordered one from Magnolia and got it in a few days.
I reread Stu Olson's Jeep Site on fitting one and am now anxious to get mine going.
    Good luck with your claim.

  2. boy do I hear you on dealing with MSA! I have sent them many emails and not one response. Its really as if MSA purposelly trying to pissoff its potential customers.

If you want an AR adapter for your Galil, my suggestion would be to look at a 3rd party vendor. It'll cost a bit more, but hey, atleast you'll get the item.

Sure hope someone takes incompetent MSA to court.

  3. Kris,

I do welcome you to email me and I will get the issue resolved now that I am back running the company. I do ask you remove the information as that is not correct address and only serves to agitate someone else which is in poor taste. But do feel free to contact me and I will get it handled.
