Polish AK47

By far the nicest AK47 I have ever seen and held. Century Arms International 1960 Polish AK47.

Milled receiver by ATM, good wood, the action is like butter. So much better than my Yugo and Romanian.

1911

Test firing a Springfield 1911 at the shooting range. Love it! I think I know what my next pistol is going to be. Nothing like the heft and thump of a .45

Update: Yup, went and bought one today.

Washington State Assault Weapon Ban

Couple of high profile police shootings done mostly with handguns, so lets go ahead and ban scary looking rifles.

Probably won't pass...this time, but you never know when it will, so get 'em while you can.

"We're not going to take away anybody's weapon," Kline said. "There will be zero confiscation of weapons, but there will be no new weapons allowed."

Magnolia State Armory

I purchased a Golani (Galil) which is an improved AK design from Israel. Neat weapon that shoots .223 and has lots of bells and whistles compared to the standard AK. Started reading about how you can get an adapter that will allow you to use an M16 magazine in place of the rarer galil type. Pretty usefull as I have an abundance of m16/ar15 magazines and not intersted in stockpiling another magazine type just for this one rifle.

Now the problem, I found this company Magnolia State Armory on a few forums that seems to make the adapter and has good reviews. Small note, the website stated that they are made in batches and could take 4 weeks to ship. No problem not in a huge hurry.

Well after 6 weeks and the holidays over I began to worry. Contacted the company and recieved no reply after a week. Contacted Paypal and told I was pass the 45 day window for dispute resolution, so no help from them.

So I'm left with two choices, one contact my credit card company and see if the charges can be reversed or...

Take the owner to small claims court here in Washington State. I'm leaning towards this, after doing some more research I see the owner has had foks waiting up to a year with no contact.
